Colne Sign Ace in Bjorn
The club are delighted to announce the signing of South African Bjorn Fortuin as professional for the 2017 season. Bjorn is a slow left arm allrounder who represents the Lions at franchise level.
His average of just over 37 with the bat, including a highest score of 194 and a shade over 28 with the bowl, with best bowling figures of 8-58, outlines the talent that Bjorn possesses. He comes highly recommended from a number of colleagues at the Lions who have no doubt he'll excel in the Lancs League next season.
The club would like to thank Cric Intro for helping to secure this exciting signing.
